On July 13th, Sotheby's in London is auctioning a letter written by Lewis to Joseph McCulloch about The Pilgrims' Regress. You can read the description

Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.

That does sound like an interesting letter. It isn't in volume 2 of the Collected Letters, eithier.

Maybe we should pool our resources and buy.

No, wait, would never work.

Oh well...

Besides. Could any of us agree where it should go if we did buy it jointly.
Without my friends or cousins, I don't make sense. Life would be somewhere not worth my time.

We could circulate it. Kind of like the journal we were sending around for a while. And speaking of which, where is the journal?

It has been awhile since I have hear about the journal. What is it supposed to be. Or the purpose of it.

The idea was for each person to write something about themselves in the journal, perhaps include some pictures, etc., and send it on to someone else in the Wardrobe, so we could have a sort of mini-profile of each person. It made it around to a few people, but I don't know what's become of it.

If we Wardrobians were jointly to get it, I'd vote for the good Doc to look after it!
