Oh, goodness! The Screwtape Letters is an incredible book, highly recommended! It's engaging, informative, thought-provoking, and highly entertaining! The writing is delightful (as is all of C. S. Lewis' writing) especially the character development of "Uncle Screwtape" which you see unfold as his letters progress. A lot can be learned from this book, especially for a Christian.
And speaking of Screwtape's letters, someone wrote a very, very good critique of the Da Vinci Code, in the form of Uncle Screwtape condoning it to Wormwood! It's very well written, and skillfully reveals the alluring, yet false claims of Brown's book. You can go to to hear the audio (the man who reads it is, in my opinion, the perfect Screwtape), and to to read the text.
By all means, read The Screwtape Letters!
