The Achievement of CS Lewis: A Millenial Assessment

Postby Rosie Cotton » April 30th, 2008, 7:40 pm

Wanted to share this Peter Kreeft article with the Wardrobe -- I especially got a kick out of where Lewis's books are arguing amongst themselves as to which of them was the greatest!

Enjoy.....

John, what is wrong with my URL link think? I've been trying different things and don't know what else to do.

The problem is that it doesn't have a url suffix. Discovery Institute appears to be trying to avoid direct links to their articles.

Anyone looking for the article, go to , click on 'Search' over on the right side, then in the 'Title' block enter "Millenial Assessment" and click 'Search'. That will take you to it.
Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.

That's new on me, I assumed it had to have the right suffix to work, even embedded. I should have tried that, thanks, John.

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.
