5-day C.S. Lewis Academy
Posted: March 1st, 2009, 1:58 amThought wardrobians would like to know about a new event the C.S. Lewis Festival is holding this summer. Dr. Chris Mitchell, a Lewis scholar from Wheaton College, and author Sarah Arthur are coming to Bay View in Petoskey, Michigan to teach a special class about Lewis. The theme is "Podium and the Pen: C.S. Lewis as Lecturer and Narrator." Dr. Mitchell will give lectures about the Socratic Club that Lewis founded. Arthur will teach a writing workshop.
If this sounds interesting to you, make plans to come! The classes are July 26-30. Teachers (or whoever needs them) can earn CEUs.
FYI, the Lewis Festival occurs annually in November in Petoskey. The November '09 theme is "Lewis and Friends."
