Clement Freud Has Died

Postby Bill » April 16th, 2009, 9:36 pm

Many of the regulars on this site will already know but for those who don't Clement Freud was married to June (or Jill) Flewett who was evacuated to the Kilns during the war to be cared for by Jack Lewis and Mrs Moore.

It has been speculated that she might have been the inspiration for Lucy.

"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best -- " and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called.
