Postby Gina in Roanoke » August 26th, 2009, 3:17 am

I remember someone posting on a forumn, Lewis' study schedule when he was being tutored. Does anyone have that or can point me in the right direction? Thanks.

His personal letters/diary, e.g. All My Road Before Me, and his biographers cover his course work pretty thoroughly.
"The 'great golden chain of Concord' has united the whole of Edmund Spenser's world.... Nothing is repressed; nothing is insubordinate. To read him is to grow in mental health." The Allegory Of Love (Faerie Queene)

In Chapter 10 of Surprised by Joy, Lewis describes his daily routine while studying in Bookham under Mr. Kirkpatrick. He also outlines his course of study.
"What are you laughing at?"
"At myself. My little puny self," said Phillipa.
