General Revelation

General Revelation

Postby jrnyr » October 2nd, 2009, 6:17 pm

I'm doing research for a book on general revelation which will likely have a chapter or at least a section on Lewis. Anyone have any specific suggestions for me? Anyone know of any secondary literature that directly deals with Lewis' view of revelation outside of the church or perhaps how he viewed the Holy Spirit's role in revelation?
Thanks!

Very much off the top of my head: the chapter on Scripture on Relections on the Psalms--and The Abolition of Man, as well. Also the the character Emeth at the end of The Last Battle. For that matter, Surprised by Joy, too.

But I'd suggest some caution with over-importing the category of "General Revelation" into Lewis.

All the best.
