Bad guys

I just read the books, like, less then a week ago. i always meant to read them before, but i never got to it.
Anyways, I'm wondering, I think that Tash is meant to be the devil, so then, are the other bad guys deomons or something? Like the two witches, or are they just kinda like humans? anyone with answers?

Hi there!
You'll find that Lewis did not write books where everyone and everything is meant to represent something spiritually. He said himself that the stories are not allegories. However there are lots of people, things, and events that will remind Christians of ideas or teachings in the Bible. Tash is not the devil. He is a false demonic god, but there is nobody in Narnia who is exactly like the devil. There are several evil characters however!
The only person who we can think of as being very much like someone else is Aslan, who is meant to help us learn about who Jesus is, and what He is like.

There are lots of great books you can read to help you see these ideas. Some of them are mentioned in the menu section above.

You can also discuss ideas here and elsewhere with other keen Narnia readers. Some of us have been discusssing the ideas for over 5 years!
