I should like to join. Do I need to sign up or be approved before adding "Member of The 2456317 Club" to my signature line?

Are there editions of the Chronicles currently in print that are numbered in published order? I would like to show my support for the correct order by buying a set, if so. It's so confusing to have the books on the shelf with the numbers on the spine reading "2456317." I worry that one of the children, thinking himself smarter than Mom, will come along and rearrange them.

Oh dear, now I've admitted that I haven't sufficiently indoctrinated my offspring with the proper reading order. Sigh... Dare I confess that we actually read them in chronological order once? That experience thoroughly convinced me that published order is best, so be assured that we won't regress to that error again.

Nope! Just add it. :)

As for still finding the books in published order, you'll have to go to a used bookstore or shop online at places like ebay before you'll find them, I'm afraid. Not to mention that the editions with pictures from the movie will start invading all the others (much like with the LOTR movies).

Well, if no one else is going to create us our song, I guess I will. I have officially started work, but, as I also have a massive research paper to do this weekend, no guarantees as to how quickly I will accomplish this mission.
Oh, and if anyone really wanted to write our song based on "Jenny (867-5309)" let me know. I don't want to tread on anyone's toes.

When the Chronicles of Narnia are now published, they are numbered in chronological order instead of in the order they were originally published. So, if you take a newer set of books that was numbered in chronological order and rearrange them so that they appear in the originally published order, the numbering on the books now becomes "2456317."
