It may look different "in the flesh" so to speak but from the photograph it doesn't look anything at all like Jack Lewis.

This sort of looks like him in the statue. Yes, I think it's a statue of him younger. Why would they do that though? It seems like they'd have a statue of him when he's older, at the age that he wrote the books.

Because the statue is in Belfast, and he left town at the age of 18, only to return for rare, brief visits.
