Very good essay re: Susan growing up

Postby ilikekermit » October 6th, 2005, 1:31 am

Hey all... in my years of lurking here, I have noticed the topic of Susan's exclusion from Narnia in The Last Battle come up several times, ans I have always read the ensuing discussion with interest.

I'm fairly active with on the blog site Live Journal, and I recently came across a very astute and well-reasoned essay written on this very subject, and I thought that it might be welcomed here as well. The author is of the opinion (as am I) that Susan was exculded because of vanity and loving this world too much; not because she discovered sex, or some such idea.

You can read it here: http://www.livejournal.com/users/synaes ... 76635.html

It might even be something to archive or put in the FAQ, as the subject does seem to return every so often.

Thanks,

Cynthia
