It is like the Bible, the first reading is the most important. And I think the first reading order of all the books in the Chronicles is really unimportant as long as LWW is read first.

A Christian, when he or she first cracks a Bible open, should gravitate to the places that communicate the gospel. And then after that, read it chronologically, randomly, or any way you want to.

My first trip through the chronicles was in publication order, and subsequently in chrono order. Both are good in their own way. But I still recommend publication order for a reader's first read.
