Narniaweb's second anniversary

Postby carol » November 22nd, 2005, 6:33 am

Hi

Just in case you want to know - today marks 2 years since Narniaweb began. You might like to drop by Narniaweb to wish it happy birthday - since it is, ahem "Our sister site".

So we must be the older "sister", huh? We're pre-teens with a baby/ toddler sister.

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.

Ahhh nearly 11 years...reminds me of fist coming across ITW (and I think it was about then!) when I was only 11 years old. Ahhh all the fond memories...:) *sighs contentedly*

I still love the old look better...but this one is growing on me! :)

"Jill," said Tirian, "you are the bravest and most wood-wise of all my subjects, but also the most malapert and disobedient."
"By the Mane!" he whispered to Eustace. "This girl is a wondrous wood-maid. If she had Dryad's blood in her she could scarce do it better." - The Last Battle
