Oh, that's so wonderful! Isn't that a great feeling? I love teaching other people to love the things that I love. I love seeing kids enjoy the books that I loved when I was a kid.

Isn't it great when kids decide they really want to read and its not just something you have to suffer through for homework. My brother's lightbulb moment came in grade 3 when his teacher read them The Hobbit in class. He was so excited he had to read it at home beforehand, as he felt he was one up on the class. I have just given his children LWW and he is under instruction to read it to them. Their favorite bedtime book at the moment is a children's version of the bible we had as kids.
With four children I have had to buy multiple copies of many favorites so that they can all have their own... Many of my personal books disappeared as my siblings left home ( I am one of five, all book addicts) including CON. :read: :read: :read:

Ok, Ian, usually I can figure out what you're trying to write, but this one has me stumped. What is a 'Litery teacs'?
Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.

Surely he is referring to literary texts.

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.
