I voted for Peter, and not for any school-girl fantasy, OMG-he's-so-cute-in-the-movie reasons.

I vote for Peter because I could always understand him better than any other character. He's the eldest of four children; I'm the eldest of four children.
He feels responsible (and is responsible) to keep the younger children safe, and I've always felt the same towards my younger siblings.

He takes charge of any situation with noble courtesy, and I'm a take-charge kind of person. (I don't know about the noble courtesy part. ;) )

And lastly, I like Peter because he is afraid, but he finds courage and does his duty anyway. He's afraid to fight Maugrim, but he does it to protect his sisters. He's afraid to lead Narnia into a war without Aslan there to guide him, but he does it because it's his duty. He's afraid to fight Miraz in single combat, but he does it to help and spare his friends.

P.S. I betcha five bucks nobody votes for Susan. :bogart:

Without my friends or cousins, I don't make sense. Life would be somewhere not worth my time.

^ I was going to say the same thing. I also love the way Lucy gets to do everything first. Of the Pevensies, she discovers Narnia first. In PC, she is the only one to see Aslan for awhile. Lucy has this really cool faith and sense of wonder in her character.

Where is the choice for Aravis...?
She`s the coolest... Well, I voted for Lucy... She`s very innocent and well... Kind, if you know what I mean...

"Jill," said Tirian, "you are the bravest and most wood-wise of all my subjects, but also the most malapert and disobedient."
"By the Mane!" he whispered to Eustace. "This girl is a wondrous wood-maid. If she had Dryad's blood in her she could scarce do it better." - The Last Battle

Probably Eustace. I like the way he goes from being so horribly obnoxious to a decent and wise person. Edmund did the same of course but I tend to think that Edmund's obnoxiousness was less than Eustace's :). I rather like that scene in VDT when Aslan 'undresses' Eustace and relieves him of his scaly skin - the one that he was not able to remove for himself.

Oooh I just checked the results and I see seven people voted for Lucy :(. I find her rather annoying at times. Might start a new thread on that.

In our school, on a wall, there is a big writing, saying «I care». It is the untranslatable motto of the best among young Americans. It means: «I AM interested in it; it is dear to me». That's the exact opposite of the fascist motto, «I don't care». (Lorenzo Milani, priest. Lettera ai giudici; 1965)
