Well pencils DO have taste, which is why I don't suck on them. That's gross. But pens don't have any so they give your mouth something to do. I'm a highly fidgety person.

Pens are a bit of a risky matter. I knew someone who broke a pen in his mouth. You don't need to know what his verbal reaction to that was, but the sight of his blue teeth afterwards was one to remember.
