Into the Wardrobe

The most childish acting of the four children in LWW is Edmund. Lucy, Peter, and Susan are quite mature in that book, although in The Last Battle she is childish in her attempt to behave like an adult. The Edmund in the BBC Narnia seemed nastier (more like a "brat" than Skandar Keynes in the newer film), though Keynes is better as the changed Edmund. William Moseley does Peter's leadership role very well. Georgie Henley is probably the best as Lucy in the choice of the four actors. But it would be hard to find a better actress than Anna Popplewell to play Susan-- who else could capture her character?

I understand what you're saying David. But the context of the discussion was whether or not the ages of the children in the movie affected or changed the story in the book. My contention was that their ages do not affect the story.
