I read it when I was...oh...8? I loved to read. I didn't get the parallell to Christianity till I was older...maybe 12 or 13. I'm still finding more and more parallels too! I loved the books though. My older cousin was in love with Reepicheep and Lucy. I think, when I read them myself, I was more fond of Peter...it's because he's the older brother and I've always liked the older brother figure. I loved most of the characters, but I'll tell you Edmund REALLY bugged me and Eustace got on my nerves. I actually think the movie LWW did a better job of redeeming Edmund to you than the book did. I never got over his betrayal when I read the LWW. It's funny, for some reason the READER feels scarred by his betrayal...I know I did! But perhaps his character in the other books makes up for it. :smile:
