Narnia Personality Test

Postby Larry W. » 31 May 2006, 21:11

Which character are you most like in The Chronicles of Narnia? I found this test at Narniaweb.com at this link: http://www.jamiefrost.co.uk/narniaquiz/. After taking it I turned out to be most like Edmund, athough I think I also have something of Eustace and Puddleglum in me. Edmund's description reads: " As Edmund, while you may be quick to lose your temper or appear unfriendly, you are known for doing the right thing in the end." The test isn't perfect-- Susan is described as being "loyal", but that was not true all of the time. However, it is fairly accurate in most of its personality trait assessments. Who in Narnia is the most like you? The test may or may not tell the whole story, but why not take it and find out?

Ok.. I jumped in and had a go.

have to say I find these things very iffy, as (typical me), I would prfer a sort of colour chart way of pinpointing an answer to a question (i.e. yes.. ish.. if.. this pertains, but no-ish if the other pertains).

I did my best though, and not really thinking of anyone in CoN that I have traits with (except perhaps Puddleglum or Andrew.. or a mix of the two).

And.. after much pontificating... the winner is...

/me holds breath expectently as he fumbles with the envelope

the winner is

/me slides the card out of the cheap "gold" sleeve

Tumnus!!!... ... erm... Tumnus???? TUMNUS??? Me?????

/me thinks its been rigged

As Tumnus you may be a bit timid and shy. But you are conscientious, caring and friendly and respected by your friends. You hope to set a new trend with your cool beard.

/me seems to recall being equated with some minor elve who's name he's forgotten in a LotR thing of a similiar vein.

As I said before, it isn't a perfect test, but it is fun to take and fairly accurate in spite of being contrived from someone's point of view.

I approve of this test!

I'm Reepicheep, my favorite!

Okay, juvenile dance of joy has concluded. I know, these tests are always going to be a little off, but if nothing else it's interesting to see what characteristics other people pick out in characters as the most important.

Larry, there's already a few threads about that test, both in here and in the Game Room.

Well, since I do everything Erekose does, I took the quiz, and I am Prince Rilian; Brave, noble, intelligent, but easily misguided? It says I should avoid green women. Uh, ok, I will....
I think Its all wrong except for the easily misguided part.

I seldom use the game room, and I don't remember seeing any other threads here recently about this test (although I always check new posts whenever I am here). But since there are lot of messages in the forums I may have missed them. Sorry-- the error in posting this thread was apparently mine.

I've done this before, but I don't remember who I got. It's cahnged though. Now I'm Caspian. A noble, goodhearted but mischievious scallywag. I'd say that fits.

"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best -- " and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called.

I have taken this a few times. The first time I took it I got Susan which bothered me immensely. So I took it again and deliberately tried to get Caspian. I never managed it. I just took it and got Mr. Beaver. I'm not sure what to think of that. Odd. I always get really odd things on personality tests. I always get Frodo on Lord of the rings tests.

I've done this several times, and I always seem to be Tirian. Don't think I measure up to him!

Well, the first time I did it I was Aslan, now I'm Jewel. I guess I got demoted, though being a Unicorn is not too bad. I'm rusty. Who was Jewel? A unicorn, as I recall, but I can't remember which book.

Jewel was the talking unicorn in The Last Battle, a companion of King Tirian, who was the last king of the old Narnia.
