Member of the 2456317 club. I got yelled at for explaining what this was, so if you want to know I guess you'll have to ask.

Mystique. :P And I know the numbers confused me, but mostly because I didn't realize anyone had committed the atrocity of publishing the series out of order!
People flock in, nevertheless, in search of answers to those questions only librarians are considered to be able to answer, such as "Is this the laundry?" "How do you spell surreptitious?" and, on a regular basis, "Do you have a book I remember reading once? It had a red cover and it turned out they were twins." ~Terry Pratchett, about libraries
And we shall reach zero at some point. :)

Correct you??? Of course not! You're the all-knowing Dr. Zeus! It was clearly spelled that way all along.

*escapes off to sarcasm thread*

"Jill," said Tirian, "you are the bravest and most wood-wise of all my subjects, but also the most malapert and disobedient."
"By the Mane!" he whispered to Eustace. "This girl is a wondrous wood-maid. If she had Dryad's blood in her she could scarce do it better." - The Last Battle

Heh, I'm not sure Lewis did either....

:)

I keep hearing that Narnia began as the image in C. S. Lewis' mind of a faun with an umberella. That would ean that The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was the first of the stories to come to him.

I do say, though, that the pulication order makes sense to me, and I suspect, when it was all over and done, that it made sense to him, too.

You're both absolutely right.
LWW WAS the first of the series, and it wasn't until it was published that he thought of writing any more.

Without my friends or cousins, I don't make sense. Life would be somewhere not worth my time.

King Ed, are you just "hmmmmm"ing to boost your post count? :tsk: Shame on you for not adding anything worthwhile to the conversation! :tsk: Save it for the Countdown. We could use some help over there.
