It could be cool, but I have already bought my DVD so I could live without it.

I don't think they should--let's focus our efforts on Prince Caspian and leave LWW as it is.

The thought that we might get an extended cut after all fills me with glee!!!!!! (How about you all?)

Why do you bring it up? Are there rumors of an Extended Edition?
I'd like to see one, but I could live without it if I have to.

Why yes, just check the News section of our dear Dr Zeus' homepage. There is a reference to an article there.

I just think it's sort of irritating that after implying that there would be no such thing as an extended version, they now go ahead and release one, after everyone's already bought the first DVD. At least with the LOTR movies people knew that an extended version was coming later and could wait to buy it if they didn't want to waste their money on two DVD's. Considering that there was only one significant scene which was cut from the film, I can't imagine that an extended version will be worth all the money that I'm sure they will charge for it. And really, there's only so much "behind-the-scenes" documentaries that the average person can take before it just gets ridiculous.

Well, I've been telling everyone for months that the producers said there wouldn't be an EE.... and there STILL isn't going to be! It's a director's cut, which will just be a bit of different editing!! Oh, and some different backgrounders, some of which we'll have seen before. Still buying it though!

Oh I am buying it too. I have to :pleased: .

When the LOTR dvds were being released I never bought the theatrical release because I knew the extended would be out a few months later.

But I think I am more attached to the Narnia movies than I was to LOTR, so I would've bought the theatrical Narnia even if I had known that in the future the extended would be out.

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.
