To quote from Paul Ford's Companion to Narnia, "Its HISTORY is unknown, and it seems to have existed forever."
"What are you laughing at?"
"At myself. My little puny self," said Phillipa.

okey dokey..

Although as I said before.. it has been mentioned in the depths of the Narnia Forum, in response to questions about "Why do Narnians speak English" type questions..

Also remember.. its a HERESY

Aslan singing his Song in MN at the Creation of Narnia, is akin to the Song song in The Simirilion (spoelling I know,, its late).
The presence of Digory, Polly, Andrew and Frank (which interestingly is 4 Sons and Daughters of Adam) and Jadis causes a set of "themes" to the music.

Effectiveley introducing elements relating to each of them.

Jadis (without knowing it of course) introduces the "magical" element, which includes The Stone Table .

Incidently that would also fit my grand Unified Heresy of The Charnians being descendents of rebel Romanised Celts who escaped the Fall of the Empires Influence and the resulting anarchy.

Soo.. there ya go..

A Heresy that is Mine and is Mine me own..

/me points to the tin cup lying near the Heresy and says.. "All me own work squire"

What would I do without your Heresies.
Without my friends or cousins, I don't make sense. Life would be somewhere not worth my time.

I think I'd end up sitting, staring at the compy screen ... muttering..

"Oh come on... someone make a post explaining how if one assumes that event <insert event here> occurred then it explains <insert event B here> in relation to <insert event C here>"!!!!!

Actually, Erekose, your idea makes a lot of sense. Everything was sprouting there. A iron bar grows into lamppost, toffee grows into a toffee tree. The human's became part of the song (and dance). Their counterpoints would, of course, cause new themes to appear - that's what counterpoints do in music.
