Narnian pics and icons

Postby A#minor » July 10th, 2006, 4:42 am

I thought I'd post these here instead of in the Tolkien forum where they don't really belong.
I made all these myself on my Paint program, so feel free to save and use them as much as you like. (For the larger images, you can right-click and choose "View Image" to see it and save it larger.) Enjoy!

Most of these have my favorite verses on them that seemed appropriate to the scene.
I love that 'seeking a country' verse; it's from Hebrews 11:13-16 that says, "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But not they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly country; wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He hath prepared for them a city."

It reminds me of the Prof. telling the Pevensies that they would know people who had been to other worlds by their speech or a look in their eye. They declare plainly...

Thanks. Love them.
Without my friends or cousins, I don't make sense. Life would be somewhere not worth my time.

It must be nice to be able to see the pictures on this thread.

If you post pictures, could they please be quite small? Those of us with dial-up don't have a long enough life...
