The eighth Narnia book

Postby Unicornguy » July 18th, 2006, 7:26 pm

I just recently read in "Perelandra". I think some Norwegians had written an article about Lewis and his works, and The Space Trilogy in particular, after the main book. Well, they spoke about Lewis and the way he used fantasy and fiction to introduce Christianity to people. Anyways, they said this was especially essential in Narnia and The Space Trilogy. The point was that they said there was eight books in the Chronicles. I think I can recall hearing about some rumours concerning an eighth book some years ago.

Is there a possibility there could be unreleased Narnia material or something?

I guess not, but it would be GREAT!

Just read many Lewis-books; "The great divorce", "Out of the Silent Planet", "Perelandra" and soon finished with "Surprised by Joy". It`s damn hard to get hand of "That hideous strength" in Norway, though, because it isn`t translated... Bah... Is it worth purchasing from some online store?

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.
