I don't think they ever worked out exactly how long it had been since their last visit. Many hundreds of years, though.

Mmm...on Lewis's timeline I think it does actually say 1000 years, by memory, but as with the length of time in the winter, it does sound like a relatively general time span. After all, their coming back to Narnia exactly 1000 years after they left - what are the chances?! :toothy-grin: Except where a mighty Lion or a brilliant author have anything to do with it! :wink:
