What do you think happened to Edmund's flashlight?

Isn't it the end of Prince Caspian when Edmund returns to England and realizes he left his torch[flashlight] in Narnia?

I wonder what happened to it?

My wonder is if some Narnian wizard could have figured out a way to use it as a talisman to visit Earth?

A friend of mine suggested it began a new religious cult in Narnia.

It seems it was last used at Care Paravel, no doubt it was left there when the kings and queens changed to their Narnia gear. They were made of metal in those days so it no doubt it was kept as a strange, perhaps sacred piece of royal treasure until the end of Narnian history. However, since it was from another world it would have been returned to our world at the end of Narnian time, in accordance with the magaversal principle of debt for equity swap.

Methinks I used Edmunds Torch as an example of a thing tfhat could legitimately be used for a Heresy... as opposed to something like a "Final Countdown" style incursion of, say, a US Aircraft Carrier.

i.e. the difference between Rational Defined heresy, and spurioous FanFic.

What happens to the torch is basically the counter question of "Where did the Sewing Machine get into Narnia"... for which, yep, I have a Heresy

/me notes that due to massive over work and such his Heresy Cortical SubProcessor has been under used of late (not counting a Stargate heresy of course)

Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.
