Esther, what you say about Gresham certainly does make sense. Also we might keep in mind that perhaps he is "picking his battles." He may have convinced the director/producers to give up an even worse idea, but had to compromise and not make a fuss over small changes.
If one complains about every little thing, eventually people stop listening. Maybe Gresham is choosing to be an influential voice about bigger changes, and to do that he has to sacrifice the little things.
