First Heresy of 2007

Somewhere's in the long list of Heresies, I think I touched on the subject of the Magic of Jadis.
In particular, it would seem that her "power" whilst in Narnia appears to rely on 2 forms.
1) An off shoot of the "deplorable Word" i.e. Stasis effects (stasis on Charn, turning to "stone", Eternal Winter)
2) Powers of deception i.e. appearing to onlookers to be trees or boulders.
This would seem to indicate a possibly previously unseen "anti-symetry" in CoN
In the first story, we have Edmund being seduced by "Turkish Delight". It may of course be argued that Jadis actually did create Turkish Delight.. BUT since she would not know of it, isn't it more reasonable to suggest that what in fact occurred is that she used some "mundane" food stuff and used her "magic" to allow Edmund to "see" and "taste" what he himself desired to?
And so we have a character who sees something "bad" as being something "good".
Now in The Last Battle, we have the Dwarves in the stable. Here they are consuming wonderful items BUT they perceive them as being bad.
