Thanks for posting that, Carol!
I mostly just skimmed through it, but here's something that I thought was weird. Of course, you can never trust those synopsis paragraphs. Whoever writes them usually skimmed the book.
With the help of the kindly dwarf, a courageous talking mouse named Reepicheep, and a leery Black Dwarf, Nikabrik,....

I wouldn't really describe Trumpkin as "kindly." Kindly at heart perhaps, but he is a little grumpy and pessimistic.

And "courageous talking mouse"? Try courageous, period!

i think that's what they meant. a talking mouse who is also courageous, rather than a mouse whose speech is characterised by bravado: in that case 'courageous-talking' should probably be hyphonated.

i agree about trumpkin though; i'd definitely think of the adjective 'grumpy' before 'kindly' in his case, if only because that's the side of him we see first.

Hehe, I think the side of Trumpkin we see first is he's grateful at being saved and hesitant in case his lifesavers are ghosts.
Somehow I never think of him as grumpy, just a sort of cheerful but loyal cynic!

The only part about that press release that concerned me a little is the part about them setting out to "find Aslan."

Other than that, their synopsis is just like the book.

Hiya glum!

I was pretty pleased with it too, apart from wondering whether they've mixed up the dwarf involvement a bit, and why they are supposedly looking for Aslan. (they should have listened to Lucy, of course, who had already seen him)

Prince Caspian press release

So MANY interesting things, thank you carol! Like: '"Prince Caspian" is the second (appearing in 1951) of Lewis’ seven-book "Chronicles of Narnia" series.
Published between 1950-56 and long regarded as one of literature’s most enduring and imaginative classics, Lewis’ books have sold over 100,000,000 books in 29 different languages, making it the second biggest book series the world over".

What is the FIRST biggest book series? Anybody knows?

Probably something with hobbits in it...

Filty, nasty hobbits...they stole it from us...and we wants it back!
Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.
