I don't know whether to shout "Woo-hoo!" or " Oh dear God, no!"
I don't know whether to be elated or devastatingly disappointed. On the one hand... Yay! We get to see all our beloved CON on the silver screen! On the other hand... AA and other directors now have the opportunity to destroy and deform everything we hold dear.
I'm torn.

Could be worse.

When I was younger, they did LW&W and PC on Jackanory.

Another story they did in the same series I thhink, was Elidor by Alan Garner.

Some of my schoolmates of the time thought Elidor was part of the series!

Soooo we could end up with 8 films!

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.
