Lewis probably read the New Testament in Greek.
"What are you laughing at?"
"At myself. My little puny self," said Phillipa.

Welcome, lorene!

This topic has come up before, you can read the previous discussion .
Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.

The version of the Bible he used was called the Authorised Version. It was authorised during the reign of King James. It was practically all that was available in England at that time - there were very few translations at all!

As a scholar he would have certainly known the Greek New Testament, although he had learned classical Greek, not New Testament Greek (koine).

"You can't go walking through Mordor in naught but your skin."
