Hi, Scott.

Yup! We have a thread about CoN audiobooks here:

Of course, it's fine to bring it up again. :)

I also like the BBC Radio Theatre CoN audiobooks...but I prefer the ones from Focus on the Family (with the exception of...dare I say it again? Aslan's voice).

Yay for Focus on the Family!!

I think the best audio versions of CoN I've ever heard is the Focus on the Family Radio Theater productions.

They're not just audio-books...they're practically movies without the movie screen. No, scratch that -- they are movies that play on the biggest screen of all: your imagination.

They're just flat out INCREDIBLE. The voice acting is great, the score is wonderful and the sound effects are AMAZING. I cannot stress enough how good these productions are and I highly reccomend them to every fellow Narniac here.

BTW, they haven't only done the Chronicles; they've also done lots of great classics, like Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, The Secret Garden...there's lots of others (and they're all FANTASTIC) , but I can't remember them all.

Yes...they're great...except for Aslan's voice (yeah, I know I'm repeating myself, but I can't help it).

That's true...but I mainly like the productions for the quality, not the faithfulness to the little details. Not that my opinion's important or anything...I'm probably scaring people away, I shouldn't wonder...

Sorry, laspsed into marshwiggle-mode again. :toothy-grin: I can't seem to help it; they're so darn fun to impersonate!
