I tried reading it and found the stories very dull but the illustrations were really well done (especially since Jack was so young when he wrote the Boxen stories).

I borrowed it from a library when I lived in west London in 2002. It was cute but not outstanding. It was really an indication of the way a boy understood the world of adults - politics, society, etc.
