How about those people who say "I'll have to read those Narnia books sometime" but never get around to doing it? I know of people that I recommended the books to repeatedly. With some of them it's been years since I told them about the stories. Whenever I ask them it seems to be the same answer, "Sometime I'll get around to it." I tell them about what the stories are about and why I liked them so much, but they don't seem that eager to read them. Or they say, "I would rather watch the movie than read the book".

Well unless they actually do read them...they've got no real claim to being a Narnia fan.

Usually I can't talk much at the dentist. With tools in my mouth etc.

…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.

Hygenists are usually the most friendly. There's this one I always manage to get. I should say used to manage to get because she's in Marble Hill. but anyway she would talk and I couldn't very well answer. (because I was saying ahhh) She didn't seem to mind though. I should try to talk about Narnia next time I go to the dentist. It might make the time go faster.

P.S. This is getting way off topic, but don't you just hate the gritty stuff they clean your teeth with? (tastes like sandy strawberries) :lipssealed: The talkative hygenist told me it was made with volcanic sand. ewww.
