ok i am doing this project about banned books & this was on the list. i was wondering if anyone knew why or by whom. i really love this book & have read it a lot. so any ideas???

Which book is "this book", guest? C. S. Lewis wrote several dozen.

Another of Lewis' books that has been banned by over-zealous Christians is Screwtape Letters. Some uninformed people actually thought it was a demonic book teaching witchcraft or some such thing.

Yes, us self-righteous types can get a bit high on the hog with our over-zealous attitudes.
How would telling people to be nice to one another get a man crucified? What government would execute Mister Rogers or Captain Kangaroo?
