Actually, I think it was the burger job that he was fired from. He couldn't do the math and kept getting the prices wrong.

I heard he got offed from the wedding gowns job because he was a little too keen on wearing them himself. That was a bit of a no-no back in the 40s.

Then they came for the Iraqis and I protested because I was an American. Then they came for the Muslims and I spoke out because I was a Christian, Then they came for the poor and I spoke out because I was rich. By the time they came for me, I had all the support a man could ask for.”

Theo, are you saying that it's not acceptable for a middle aged academic to wear a wedding dress if he wants to? Because I have BIG issues with that, if so.

Does this classify as a game thread?:-)

--Stanley
…on a night of rain Frodo smelled a sweet fragrance on the air and heard the sound of singing that came over the water. And then it seemed to him that as in his dream in the house of Bombadil, the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a fair green country under a swift sunrise.

Maybe a gamey thread....
Rat! he found breath to whisper, shaking. Are you afraid?
Afraid? murmured the Rat, his eyes shining with unutterable love.
Afraid! Of Him? O, never, never! And yet -- and yet -- O, Mole, I am afraid!
Then the two animals, crouching to the earth, bowed their heads and did worship.
