IRL I just met my academic advisor who approved my proposal for my big paper. In fact, she said I should think about getting it published!

Hey Linda, having read your beliefs I wondered if you've ever read the Urantia.

Never heard of it. What is it?

The Urantia Book is written much in the same style as a the Bible. It explains that we are one in many systems who were visited by "sons" of God and how that all happened. I'm a little fuzzy on it as it's been years since I've read it. But reading your beliefs triggered the memory of it.

To keep on topic. IRL I just got up. The coffee has just finished and I'm going to get a cup as soon as I hit "submit". :)

I'm overwhelmed that you would even think of checking the forums before your morning coffee! ;)

How many pages is it and what's it about? Just curious.

IRL I'm waiting for my job to be done so that I can go home and write either (a) an e-mail or (b) a current writing project. :D

Will be
, Johnnie, will be :p

It will be about 40 pages and is about (ahem) Theological Perspectives on a Sociological View of Homosexuality in the Anglican Communion. Or something.

What's your current writing project?

Point of fact I have two writing projects. The one is a mystery noir novel (mystery novel - HAH) :bogart: of which I posted a snippet in the creative writing forum two weeks ago but which has long since vanished in the mists of time. The other one is a secret (mostly because I have to see if it pans out).

I have been neglecting the one for the other, which is why my number one writing rule is this: Never engage two projects at the same time - a rule which I constantly break. The result is hours and hours of psychological turmoil and both probably never ending up being finished...but neither is getting away from me THAT easily.

IRL, I'm packing to move in with my MOTHER. :/ We are buying a new house, but it's not ready yet so we're camping out at Mom's for a few weeks because my lease is up the end of this month. Gotta go make another box run. Did you know that you can go to Wal-Mart at around midnight and get all the boxes you want? That store moves a LOT of merchandise! It's like a party with all the boxes piled up in the aisles and people in little blue vests chatting and restocking shelves. There are 4 times as many employees at night as you see in the day time. It's really quite fun!

IRL I am getting ready to go out and weed my flowerbeds and then take my daily two-mile walk around the neighborhood. I love the summertime. :pleased:

4:30AM Alarm is supposed to go off...It didn't...

5:00AM I sit straight up in bed in a PANIC...roll over and slip back into a restless sleep...

5:12AM I get up, wash my face, throw on some clothes and stumble out to my car...

5:30AM ...I arrive at work and begin my hazy mourning (or is it morning?)of making coffee and preparing to greet my giant mound of paper work and reports.

5:40AM MMmmm coffee!

7:30AM I leave to go pick up my family to go sign closing paper work on our very first home!

11:17AM I sit here eyeing my growing pile of paper work contemplating the thought of procrastinating just a little bit longer ;)

Exciting isn't it :)?
