Seriously, Lewis's journals would be good, and Carpenter's THE INKLINGS, and perhaps Poe's LEWIS REMEMBERED.

I got around to reading Sayer's Bio of Lewis about a month ago (thanks to everyone for the advice). It was great; I really enjoyed it. Sayer's praise of Dymer forced me to check it out (read it last weekend). It also made me interested in Warnie's book on 17th (?) century France.
I reread Surprised By Joy before I read Sayer's book. I would suggest that everyone read both the books; what Lewis leaves out of SBJ, Sayer covers in Jack (and vice versa).
