There's actually a word for this type of equivocation. You have created a classic palimpsest!
74708 (I just noticed there are two double counts from the previous page, eg. 74012 & 74011)

Happy Superbowl, everyone! I'm not a big football fan, but I've watched the Superbowl every year since we've been married because we alsways get invited somewhere. We made jambalaya to support New Orleans and brownies because they are good.

Good Monday morning everyone,

Somehow I think we got back on the right count. The last page was a mess.

We had a great discipleship conference in Branson last week. On Saturday morning before we checked out I was on the balcony of my hotel room and spotted two bald eagles. I've never seen one in the wild before. On Saturday afternoon we attended my son's first Pinewood Derby. Suffice it to say, we're still waiting for his car to pass the finish line.

I didn't have a favorite team in the Superbowl, but found myself rooting for the Saints, so I had a pleasant evening.

Emily, how did JBQ go?

Aleena: (LOST spoiler)
Spoiler:
I think Jack was the only one able to see Desmond on the plane. Both Rose and the Stewardess took no notice of him.

I'll put up a new trivia question at the next opportunity

Dan, we have bald eagles around here quite a bit. It is a beautiful site. My written test is completed and faxed in. Waiting to see how I did. It was very difficult. Hoping Lucy did well.

We didn't do so good at my JBQ meet. Didn't win a single match. It doesn't really disturb me. It's about memorizing and understand God's Word. The other teams are really good, but they don't understand the material as much as my team does.

God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. James IV and 1 Peter V

Dan, are there such things as Synoptic Epistles? How about the Old Testament, like the Samuels, Kings and Chronicles?

O.K. after channel 5 news and the books I have been reading, I am going organic and cutting way down on meat.

I have not heard of "synoptic epistles" and couldn't find anything on the web referring to such.

For others unfamiliar with the term, the Synoptic Gospels are Matthew, Mark and Luke. The term "synoptic" basically means the same point of view, and the three Synoptic Gospels contain much of the same stories and even wording.

The Samuel/Kings/Chronicles combination has some synoptic qualities, but there are relatively few shared stories and even the shared stories are often from a different point of view. I'm not sure how you could do a synoptic epistles based on stories and events, although I suppose one could be theorized based on theological content.

And BTW, be nice to Emily. Although the grapes may have seemed a bit sour, she wasn't displaying selfish pride, but rather team pride. And if you're going to be proud of your team, I'd much rather it be about understanding and application of the Bible than a win-loss record.

I am trying to do my fruits and vegetables more organic and locally grown (although not much is growing locally right now).

At the basketball game last night there were people walking from the parking lot to the gym with no coats on! These midwesterners are a hardy bunch. The game was so exciting I could not sleep most of the night from the sound of the roar in my ears. This was a girls basketball game. They are really good. The boys game is tonight; can't wait.

Wendy's neighborhood was Bloomsbury, in London.

That post reminds me how disappointed I was in Hook. It had so much potential but never quite made it.

I liked the concept of Hook and (aside from one particular faerie) thought the performances were quite good. However the siliness and the stage settings were unrealistic and distracting.
