magpie:
Don't be offended. I have a penchant for noticing gender/sex in everything and it's about the first thing I notice about anything. It has to do with the way I was raised, for one thing, and it was intensified by catching a glimpse of the Great Dance once. Everything, and I mean everything, even flowers and colors, had a specific gender in this glimpse.
A lot of the female posters here have a more masculine quality in their posting style. I think it has to do with C.S.Lewis and his writing style. Air of Winter's is especially pronounced. [No offense to anyone. It's just something I would notice.]
[Wow. I just think I figured out something very important.]
Air of Winter:
I've copied your post. I need to re-read it and do some research on the dance macabre. I may need to quiz you later. I won't be able to post for a few days.
I only know of one other person who's posting gender was mistaken for a man's and that is mine. I've very deliberately gone in the other direction, for a number of reasons. I'm not sure it's been a good thing.
