The man who lives in contact with what he believes to be a living Church is a man always expecting to meet Plato and Shakespeare tomorrow at breakfast. He is always expecting to see some truth that he has never seen before. --Chesterton

In response to Pastafarian's comments, I ask him what he thinks about miracles. What would you do if you came across a physically unexplainable, well documented miracle from a reputable and unbiased source? How do you explain it? Might it not shake you atheistic assumptions just a little?

Also, have you read Mere Christianity, a book by C. S. Lewis? In it, he presents the argument about where our innate sense of morality, our conscience, comes from. It is not just what we want to do, for often we don't want to do what we know to be right, and yet we still have this nagging feeling.
You mentioned earlier that morality might have evolved. But would that work? Often our consciences tell us to do things that our brains know are silly, not to our benefit, or downright dangerous. You could say that morality is necessary for a safe, stable society, therefore it could have evolved, because people in a safe, stable society are more likely to survive that people in a world of backstabbing criminals. But How would a whole class of people with morality have evolved? It starts with a random mutation in one individual. How long would a nice, moral person last in that society of backstabbing criminals? If he was resistant to do certain things for his survival or gain, he would be swallowed up.
May God bless you!

"I don't care if it is wrong," said one of the moles. "I'd do it again."
"Hush, hush" said the other animals.
