Oh well, that'a okay then. It's just that you mentioned all these prophecy pundits like Hal Lindsay and there take on the whole Gog and Magog as Russia thing is that it is tied in with Ezekiel 38. I didn't want to start arguing the case against that because I didn't think you were commited to that. But Gog and Magog in Revelation refers to something that happens at the end of the millenium, which I assume to be era of the Church. Now as I understand it the era of the Church will end when Christ has subdued all his enemies. I don't think we're close to the end of that era at all: we have a divided Church and a whole host of non or anti-Christian ideologies dominating the world. The problem and the real divide between you and I is that because you interpret a lot of stuff which I think is about the great tribulation back in the first century as being still future and coming at the close of the Church age you see that age as ending in disaster or rather as moving climactically towards disaster just prior to the return of Christ. So while I think of the Gog and Magog epidode as a blip just before the end you think of it as the defining feature of the final days of the Church era which could be fairlly close. Is that a fair summary?
