I think "The horse and his boy" is my favourite Narnia book, and "Prince Caspian" is my least favourite...

What I like about THAHB is that it`s so different from the other books, and that Aravis is so cool... =)
I am not sure if I have replied to this before, but I don`t think so... I read it some days ago, but I didn`t get the time to reply...

Without my friends or cousins, I don't make sense. Life would be somewhere not worth my time.

I thought Miraz was kind of boring as a villain-- he was a cruel tyrant but not very clever in taking on King Peter, who was a younger and more skilled opponent. Couldn't Lewis have given Peter a better challenge than Miraz? It seems that the bad guys are more believable when they aren't so foolish. Caspian was interesting enough, although a lot of the book isn't really about him. The other books have more interesting places, especially the next one in order of publication, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, with its beautiful maritime setting. There is the stone table, Aslan's How, battlefields, which are also in the other stories, but otherwise Prince Caspian doesn't offer so much in new places and unsual events.

I can't remember if I already weighed in on this thread. Sadness.

Anyway, The Silver Chair was always my least favorite. I liked the characters...well, except for Tirian. What a brat!

Okay, this does sound familiar. I'm sure I have a post on this thread somewhere...
People flock in, nevertheless, in search of answers to those questions only librarians are considered to be able to answer, such as "Is this the laundry?" "How do you spell surreptitious?" and, on a regular basis, "Do you have a book I remember reading once? It had a red cover and it turned out they were twins." ~Terry Pratchett, about libraries
And we shall reach zero at some point. :)
