I've been thinking about this ever since seeing The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe and I must say, I'm so excited about the possibility of how true and close to the book they could make Prince Caspian.
At first when I saw LW&W, I was disappointed with the fact that they didn't build the mystery, the expectation and the excitement before meeting Aslan (which despite its weaknesses, I feel the BBC adaptation did much better!). However, I felt they compensated for this in the new movie by developing the childrens characters much more than the (dare I say it) almost 1-dimensional portrayal of the kids in the BBC adaptation.
This character development which was done in LW&W, I think, will assist, in the making of PC in that they won't need to develop the characters as much. After all, we saw much more of the weakness/doubts of Peter and particularly of Susan in LW&W (the movie) which come out even more in the PC (the book), so from that angle I'm very excited about the potential of what Walden & Disney can do to PC as a movie!
